The use of a urethane binder like BAYPRET NANO-PU resulted in a good durability against laundering of the permethrin. The good filmforming properties of the BAYPRET NANO-PU did not prevent the permethrin of being bioactive. The bioactivity against yellow fever mosquitoes showed that the knock-down effect of 100% is achieved in less time when the urethane binder was applied. When using the urethane based binder system a softer handle was obtained then when the acrylate binder was used.
