Indian carpets are famous and known worldwide for its magnificent designs and heart-winning workmanship. Carpet industry is one of the oldest industries in india. Traditionally, carpet yarns are dyed followed by carpet manufacturing and finishing. The present papers aims to know about the recent new developments in the use of raw material like fibers, innovation in carpet dyeing and carpet printing.
