Our members are aware that DMAI submits representation to the Ministry of Finance, Drawback Division, GOI for revision in duty drawback with relevant data every year for our industry. During this year also our representation for upward revision of duty drawback was submitted in August 2011 and followed it up with personal meetings with the concerned Government officials. We are very happy to inform our members that CBEC has revised all India rates of drawback vide Notification No.68/2011-Customs (N.T.) dated 22nd September 2011, including many items for the colorant industry w.e.f. 1st October 2011. We are sure our exporter fraternity will be definitely benefited with increase of rates ranging from 1 to 2%.
