Textile cluster project starts functioning in Ludhiana

The work for setting up a textile cluster project under Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS) of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has completed and the cluster has become fully operational at Ludhiana, located in the north Indian state of Punjab.The textile cluster project for Ludhiana costing Rs. 171.9 million was sanctioned in October, 2004.
