MMF export target of $ 6 bn will be achieved:SRTEPC Chief

Stating that the exports of man-made fibre textiles was on path of recovery, Mr. Rakesh Mehra, Chairman, Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) expressed confidence that the target of US $ 6 billion for the 2013-14 fiscal set by the Ministry of Textiles will be achieved. Addressing the 59th annual general meeting of the council, Mr. Mehra informed that the situation in the current financial year was expected to be better. There are signs of recovery of the US economy and Eurozone is also showing signs of stabilization.
