Part-1 of Garment Dyeing Machines, under the caption "Garment Processing Machines", published in the September'12 Supplement issue of Colourage, introduced this subject and its current importance. We had covered the status of this subject in 2006-2007 in a series of 7 articles in Colourage. Since then, during the past 5-6 years, the share of garments in India's Textile Exports, has grown to 39.6% to occupy the top position followed by Cotton Textiles (32.5%) and Man-Made Textiles (18.0%).
