Clariant Chemicals' nine monthly operational PBT grew by 50% over previous year's corresponding period

CLARIANT Chemicals (India) Limited, a focused, sustainable and innovative specialty chemical company today announced its financial results for the nine months ended December 31, 2020. The company reported Profit before exceptional item & tax of Rs. 35.3 crore for the nine months ended December 31, 2020, as compared to Rs. 23.6 crore in the similar previous year period - witnessing a significant growth of 50%. Sales fell by 13% at Rs. 511.9 crore, for the nine months ended December 31, 2020 as against Rs. 587.8 crore in the similar previous year period, severely impacted by the Covid nationwide lockdown in the initial months.
