The inkjet digital textile printing is becoming more meaningful as it has evolved in terms of the technological advancements. The aesthetics and visual possibilities have increased enormously. On one hand the inkjet technology is producing hi-speed results to enhance production capabilities and on the other hand it is creating amazing results in design details and color. The possibilities are continuously increasing thus providing a huge creative canvas to the designers for experimentation. However, the business of fashion and textiles is driven by trends. Trends create an outline for inspiration and provides focused insights to designers for making informed choices. The influences discussed in this article are not limited to the four broad design directions however it draws references from what has been successful and celebrated and what possibilities it could bring for future.
