Like many of you, the I-Team has returned from the HIA show with tired feet and heads bursting with information, but invigorated by the upbeat spirit of the show. Exhibitors showed a wide array of exciting new products, and retailers bought with an optimistic enthusiasm not seen for several years. The most distinct difference in this trade show, however, was the unmistakable companies whose names end in ".com." One web-based company brought video cameras and broadcast live from the show. Another sponsored the Cyber Cafe where show attendees could check their e-mail without leaving the show floor. And most exhibitors listed a web site in the address section of the show book.
