摘要

If you spot an article about the growing popularity of knitting in a mainstream newspaper or magazine, chances are there will be a mention of Gotta Knit, the small, yet very successful yarn shop in New York City's hip Greenwich Village. Since opening their doors four-and-half years ago, owners Laura Eackloff and Ann Regis have been doing a booming business and getting lots of publicity for their efforts. "We've been busy from the day we opened," says Eackloff. Much of the store's success can be credited to location. It's situated on the second floor of a building on busy Sixth Avenue, is convenient to all sorts of foot traffic and just steps away from the sprawling NYU campus.
