There probably isn't a store associate working within the craft industry who hasn't heard a teacher ask for sup-plies to make a volcano. These same associates are often a teacher's first resource when they need craft activities for specific school projects, after-school programs, scout troops, church groups, in-school celebrations or countless other functions. As an industry, we need to ensure that each teacher's request is met with in-depth understanding - understanding that makes the connection far beyond what craft supplies can do, all the way to what craft supplies can teach.
