The News in Stamps: Scrapbooking

Stamp shop registers are ringing as sales and participation is picking up after a slight slowdown in 2002 and early 2003. During that period, a few old line suppliers quietly closed their doors or associated with larger craft companies. At the same time, a few newcomers jumped into the business while others held the line by finding a new customer for rubber stamps, the scrapbooker. Scrapbookers and altered art crafters have discovered stamping in a big way, and rubber stamp product manufacturers and retailers now are courting this customer with new ideas for using rubber stamps in scrapbooks, journals and other memory crafts.
