20 Years in Sewing

Twenty years ago this month I embarked on my first "real" job out of college. My inaugural position in the sewing industry, that of a consumer relations representative for Simplicity Pattern Company, was an excellent stepping stone for a career where, in a variety of jobs, I've been able to serve as town crier for the benefits and joys of sewing. The last 20 years have flown by. I relish the relationships with colleagues that have remained strong over the years. I tease about it often, but I really like the idea that once you get into this industry, you are engaged for life.
