Galiperfil, a Spanish wood panelling manufacturer, hopes to increase its installations in hospitals and clinics by winning the rights to coat its panels with a lacquer finish incorporating Microban technology, which kills 99.9% of bacteria, including E.coli, Staph A and MRSA. It cannot wash off or wear away and will continue to work for the product's lifetime.
