HWI Global begins UNC hospital project

US-based cleanroom builder, HWI Global has begun a contract to provide U5>P 797 consultation and interior fit and finish services for the new University of North Carolina (UNC) Nuclear Medicine Pharmacy renovation at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. The renovation of the Nuclear Medicine Pharmacy, dedicated to the compounding and dispensing of radioactive materials for use in nuclear medicine procedures, is an expansion of UNC Hospitals' School of Nuclear Medicine. Deric Haddad, chief executive of HWI Global, said: "When HWI learned it had a chance to work with UNC Hospitals, an institution that provides health services for the entire state of North Carolina, we created a new division of speciality within our infrastructure to facilitate this exceptional organisation.
