Burkert acquires BBS Systems of Wil, Switzerland

After five years of co-operation, fluid technology specialist Burkert has acquired BBS Systems of Wil, Switzerland for an undisclosed sum. Burkert's managing director Heribert Rohrbeck says the move reinforces the company's position in hygienic processing and continues its growth strategy in this segment. Established in 1993, BBS Systems specialises in the development, production and marketing of components and systems for bio- and pharmaceutical plant engineering.
