Lattice Materials installs class 10,000 cleanroom

Lattice Materials, a US producer of infrared optical blanks, laser mirror blanks and silicon sputtering targets, has installed a class 10,000 cleanroom environment for the cleaning and packaging of polished parts, primarily silicon and germanium witness samples. The firm says the investment has enhanced the value of its witness samples. Encompassing an advanced cleaning station and nitrogen-purged packaging capabilities, the cleanroom was installed by FL Dye of Bozeman, MT.
