Celco acquires new finishing equipment

Kansas-based Central Electropolishing Company (Celco) has acquired new electropolishing equipment designed for the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Medical and pharmaceutical devices and equipment are largely made of stainless steel. The industry maintains established guidelines for its surface finish requirements. Stainless steel finishing through electropolishing has been widely recognised as reducing the risk of contamination and is critical to producing and maintaining sterile equipment and systems.
