HIGH CONTAINMENT SOLUTIONS FOR ANTIBODY-DRUG CONJUGATES (ADC) PRODUCTION

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are a new class of highly potent biopharmaceutical drugs. These complex molecules are composed of an antibody linked, via a stable, chemical, linker with labile bonds, to a biological active cytotoxic payload or drug. ADC can be used for injectable antibiotics for example. For the manufacturing of ADC, the following process steps need to be carried over: reaction, filtration and drying. The synthesis steps requires the use of isolation technology to protect both the product and the environment from the potent ADC: a full high containment suite to integrate efficiently and safely the synthesis process equipment necessary to the production of ADC.
