THRIVING HEALTHCARE MARKET IN SOUTHEAST ASIA IS BOOSTING DEMAND FOR DISPOSABLE GLOVES

The frenetic pace of economic growth in Asia-Pacific combined with a thriving healthcare sector, particularly in southeast Asian countries, has provided a boost to demand for disposable gloves. A new study from Frost & Sullivan, Analysis of the Asia-Pacific Disposable Gloves Market, finds that the market earned revenues of more than US$310m in 2013 and estimates that this will reach $435.7m in 2018. Australia and Indonesia are the two key contributors. The study covers surgical and examination gloves, industrial gloves, automotive gloves, critical environment gloves, food industry gloves and retail gloves.
