VPHP - THE METHOD FOR THE FUTURE OF CHEMICAL DECONTAMINATION

VPHP (Vapour phase hydrogen peroxide) is a modern decontamination process that uses gaseous H2O2as an effective agent. With its high efficiency and activity, non-toxicity, odourlessness, colourlessness, ease of monitoring, environmental friendliness, stability, unrestricted disposal and cost effectiveness, VPHP fulfils the requirements for a so called "ideal decontamination agent" in many aspects. Since the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) approved the use of VPHP as a sterilization process for enclosed areas, the number of VPHP applications has been steadily increasing. The sterilization of medical tools and packaging materials and the bio-decontamination of laboratories and hospitals are the principle examples.
