AF delivers super-efficient energy modelling to hospital

Environmental ambitions are high for the New Karolinska Solna (NKS) University Hospital, which is under construction. The plan is to achieve environmental certification at Gold level according to LEED as well as to Swedish certification system Miljoebyggnad. Skanska has entrusted AF with the energy modelling required for LEED certification. Energy simulation is an important factor in many environmental certification systems for buildings. When it comes to LEED, energy calculations typically account for some 30% of the overall assessment.
