What does green cleaning really mean?

The term green cleaning' is, in my humble opinion, so overused and misunderstood that it has become cliched and means a multitude of different things to different people. The reason for this is that creating a cleaning service which offers true sustainability, environmental friendliness, and green credentials is complex and more often than not, people don't have a clear idea of the objectives that they or their clients are aiming for, which means delivering real results for the client, their employees and, of course, themselves becomes increasingly unachievable. In order for us to construct a green package we first need to comprehensively understand how this affects all areas of cleaning service provision. For example, where cleaning chemicals are concerned we can rely upon accreditations such as EU Ecolabel or Nordic Swan to look into the detail of what raw materials are used to formulate the chemical, what the bottles and outer packaging are constructed of, what adhesive type is used to stick the labels and so on -and award their approvals accordingly.
