The Flex Files - Flexible Circuit Innovation Progress Check

As long-time readers of this column know, Flexible Thinking every so often wanders off to the U.S. Patent Office to find some technological gems that are either made possible by flexible circuit technology or which make possible fundamental improvements in the technology itself. Based on my recent cursory review of U.S. patents issued over the last ten years, it seems very clear that flexible circuit innovation is alive and well. Moreover, it appears that the technology is proving an exceptional enabler of—or platform—for electronic innovations.
