It's because CircuiTree was one of the few industry trade publications that has not fallen hook, line, and sinker for the bait of an easy, attention-grabbing piece with all the accuracy of the old-fashioned child'srngame of telephone. For those of you who don't remember it from your childhood, it was the game where a single piece of information was passed around a circle of children one by one. By the time the information had completed the circle, it bore little resemblance to the original message. So too is the case in this sad piece of misinformation concerning the potential for a Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive in America.
