Though it might seem undeserving, conductor sizing and routing is a topic that will require more than one column to completely cover due to the many issues that must be understood and addressed relative to this seemingly pedestrian matter. As we shall see, conductor size choice and routing planning is yet another part of flex circuit design where the circuit designers may find themselves at crossed purposes relative to the electrical and mechanical demands of the design in the product or application.
