Plastic Electronics: Key Players and Drivers

摘要

Since the 1970s, a significant amount of research and development effort has gone into the understanding and development of electrically conducting organic materials and semiconducting polymers. It could be argued that the technology came of age in 2000 when the Nobel Prize for Chemistry was awarded to Alan J. Heeger, Alan G. MacDiarmid, and Hideki Shirakawa. With the future commercial deployment of such materials for electronic applications, the phrase plastic electronics was shaped.
