Russia Wavering on Cmail, Skype Ban

Russian citizens still aren't sure whether their country will block the use of Skype, Cmail and Hotmail. Reports had suggested that Russia's state security organization was considering blocking the services or at least requesting access to the cryptographic technology that underlies them. However, while one official says the services pose a major security threat, another says Russia should welcome advanced technology.
