I hadn't been to Coventry for many years until I visited the Odeon Skydome in 2005 and found it to be everything you might ever want in a modern cinema. Since the 'Coventry Picture Palaces' book relates the history of the city's cinemas in chronological order, I first turned towards the back of the book, and was pleased to see that the Skydome (was it really called 'Cinema Heaven at Junction 7' by the marketing people?) was well covered, including photos of the projection areas and equipment. Typically for one of the 'Mercia Cinema Histories', however, not only are we told about the new cinema, but the fate of the previous Odeon (it's now an arts centre) is also detailed.
