Rcent Advances in the Treatment of Blood Disorders with Traditional Chinese Medicine

Blood per se and blood in circulation as well as bleeding and clotting processes are all naturally perceivable. It is therefore no won- der that the gross concepts about blood in tra- ditional Chinese medicine (TCM) are essen- tially identical to that in Western Medicine (WM). As a consequence, we might be able to find useful clues or ideas for the treatment of various blood disorders from the written and unwritten experiences of TCM. Tremendous efforts have been made in the last 50 years to unearth the treasure and to put the heritage in use. Many successful results were obtained.
