Try Deep Thickeners and Clarifiers

摘要

The authors expand on a recent CEP article and detail the advantages of deep thickeners. The article "Improve Clarifier and Thickener Design," CEP, p. 50, July 1994, by J. B. Christian, covered design and optimal operation of these devices. Christian's theoretical formulation related solely to the hindered-settling region in which the settling velocity is assumed to be a unique function of the concentration.
