the latest advances in management theory should be combined with the latest advances in comparative political economy theory, this paper in itself is an attempt to apply the dynamic capabilities framework that we advocate. We hope that this provides a beneficial combination that leads to mutually informative insights in both fields, and reinforces the recent calls for the use of multidisciplinary approaches in social science.
