The End of Ideology, and the Choice for a Democratic Nominee for President

The choice of a presidential nominee for the American 2020 election has turned out to be a major turning point in the life of the Democratic party. Perhaps, never before had there been such a strong distinction in the issues of the choice to be made.Candidates for the nomination broke sharply into two camps: those who wanted basic change and those who were for staying with the status quo that the Democratic party had long been at peace with. When it came to the final possibilities-former vice president Joe Biden and Senator, Bernie Sanders, the differences in platform became clear. Biden was for reversing the harm that the incumbent administration had done to the liberal agenda. The US would go back to the good governance policies of President, Barack Obama and normalcy would reign again. Some changes would be made if Biden won but these would not endanger the way things are.
