Home Range and Intraspecific Interactions of a Translocated Iguana Population (Cyclura cyclhlura inornata Barbour and Noble)

Most speices of Cyclura exhibit some form of territorial defense but the soical structure of the Allen's Cay iguana (Cylcura cychlura inornata Barbour and Noble) is seemingly non-territorial, presumably Because of food provisioning by tourists. To determine if territorial behavior in the subspecies is factultative, I ivestigated home range and intraspecific interactions of a translocated population with similar demo- Graphic characteristics but not exposed to human activities.
