Viewpoint: Child research comes of age

Research on children and families is exciting from both a theoretical and empirical perspective, and has grown rapidly as a field. It may be an overstatement to say that it has 'come of age,' but it certainly is well on its way. Researchers working in Canada, and/or with Canadian data have made important contributions to this growing area, but there is much more that can be done, particularly if improvements in data access continue.
