TALK ABOUT THE WRITE TIME

"The write touch" (John Shoesmith, April) was quite timely as I recently self-published my first novel, Hope, set in the Saskatchewan prairies in the early 1990s. Like Anthony Bidulka, I am a smalltown prairie boy who drew upon his experiences growing up in Saskatchewan when writing my novel. Also like Bidulka, for years I regretted the lack of time and energy to pursue my lifelong dream of being a published author of fiction.
