Video Applications: Are We Crossing the Chasm?

IP-based streaming video isn't mainstream, but experience and new tools and techniques are helping it move into new applications. Most corporations still rely on CD-ROMs and video tapes to distribute video training and other internal video material. But tens of thousands of companies have begun experimenting with IP-based streaming technologies, and nearly 50 organizations have adopted it to end users with on-demand access to stored corporate video assets.
