It shows Elvira at Landskrona Station in Sweden, and she is one of just three low-floor Solaris Trollino 12s operating on that small city's 3km trolley line, which opened in September 2003 and is, of course, numbered 3. Her sisters are named Ella and Ellen and all three pick up the 'E for Electric' and 'E for Environment' theme. It is fun to imagine such an amazing project happening in the UK. Landskrona was faced with the loss of its centrally located railway station in favour of a shiny new one on the edge of the city. That was all part of a project to realign the tracks in the run-up to the construction of the 0resund bridge and tunnel linking southern Sweden with Copenhagen.
