VDL double-decker may be next year

The new generation double-deck bus from VDL Bus — a 100% low-floor chassis designed primarily for London — will not now appear before next year. rnThe double-decker is part of a new city bus range from the Dutch manufacturer and will replace the now discontinued DAF-engined DB250, which DAF Bus developed in the early 1990s using some features of the MCW Metrobus. It will have a Cummins ISBe engine similar to that in the Alexander Dennis Enviro400, and rnhave a new version of the Wright Pulsar Gemini body on the DB250.
