Improved frequencies night-time and daytime

London's ever-increasing number of night bus routes and routes providing 24hr service has been amazingly successful. A friend driving across London at about 02.00 on a Sunday was surprised to see two articulated buses on route 25 (Oxford Circus-llford) absolutely laden with passengers while three double-deckers on the N87 (Aldwych-Kingston) all looked full. Many London night services have a higher frequency on Friday and Saturday nights and indeed the night vehicle requirements then on the 25 only recently rose from 13 to 15 buses. Incidentally, that compares with a maximum weekday requirement of 42. Sunday daytime frequencies on the 25 also recently improved from a 10min headway to one every 7.5min.
