Former Black Prince proprietor Brian Crowther dies at 66

Brian Crowther, who founded Morley, Leeds-based Black Prince Buses in 1969 and sold its operations to FirstGroup in 2005, died in Leeds General Infirmary on 16 February. He was 66, had suffered from two episodes of life-threatening illness in the 10 years before Black Prince closed and experienced further heart trouble before being admitted to hospital. He leaves a widow, Sheila, whom he married in 1970, son David and daughter Katie.
