This is a short, copiously illustrated history of Johnsons of Henley-in-Arden, marking the centenary of a Warwickshire coach and tendered bus company that has grown into a fleet of over 80 vehicles largely bought new. For many, the bus fleet passes the ultimate test of enthusiast acceptability for an independent, with three new double-deckers - Optare Olympus-bodied Scanias - delivered earlier this year for its Stratford-Birmingham service. The book takes its title from an advertising slogan adopted after brothers John and Peter Johnson took control of the business around 30 years ago and embarked on a mission to expand.
