Stagecoach has returned to its tried and trusted favourites for the bulk of its 2009/10 orders for new buses and coaches, confirming details of 434 vehicles - 200 of them double-deck - being sourced mainly from Alexander Dennis factories.rnEarlier this year (Buses March), it said it was placing an 'initial order...for around 420' vehicles with Euro5 engines, to follow the 584 for 2008/09. Announcement of fuller details of this £71 millionrnorder are believed to have been delayed while the group satisfied City regulators that it was following all correct procedures before placing orders with Alexander Dennis, in which Stagecoach chief executive Brian Souter has a significant personal shareholding.
