The South African government has selected Mercedes-Benz and MAN to supply 570 buses and coaches for next year's World Cup football finals.rnSouth African media reports say that Mercedes-Benz South Africa (MBSA) will provide 168 semi-luxury and 292 interurban buses for sports events, and MAN 110 general spectator buses. Details of the bodywork suppliers have not been named but these are likely to include local builder Busaf as well as Spanish manufacturer Irizar and Brazil's Marcopolo, both of which have South African factories.
