Besides the relaunch of RT1 (see p11), the Cobham Bus Museum's 5 April Spring Gathering helped usher in this year's rally season with its popular mix of bus displays and sales stalls at Wisley Airfield with bus rides connecting Wisley with the museum and Weybridge station.rn1. A popular performer for the second successive year on the Cobham-Wisley shuttle was Alexander RV-bodied Volvo Ailsa A972 YSX, new to Fife Scottish and now in a muted version of the livery of local operator Sunray Travel. It is owned by.proprietor's son Piers Millier, who drove it on 5 April, and who has painted it out of Cardiff Bus orange in which it appeared at Cobham a year earlier. It is kept as a spare bus for Sunray, which also operated its own Alexander-bodied ex-Trent Volvo Citybus, G617 OTV, on the 477 shuttle.
