Further to the caption to the picture of a Western SMT ex-Caledonian Bristol L5G (Fleet News Scotland, January), all Western's Bristol Ls were classified as DB and not DT, no distinction being made between double- and single-deck Bristols until the LS6Gs arrived in 1957, when T was first used. Even after they and subsequent MWs arrived, the Bristol Ls remained classified as 'B' until withdrawn in 1960.
