Industry Mourns Loss Of Go-ahead Marketing Guru Matthew Bradley

Colleagues across the bus industry have been mourning the death, from stomach cancer, of Go-Ahead Group marketing manager Dr Matthew Bradley on 8 November, a few days after his 41 st birthday. 'Matthew's extraordinarily positive attitude throughout his terrible illness was exceptional,' says Go-Ahead chief executive Keith Ludeman. 'He will be missed very much by the many friends he has made throughout Go-Ahead and the transport industry as a whole.' In an emotional tribute at the UK Bus Awards ceremony a few days later, his friend and colleague Ray Stenning of Best Impressions said that his death marked the extinguishing of a guiding light in the industry'. 'When we worked together, I swear that sparks would fly. We shared the same vision and worked tirelessly to try to deliver inspirational, aspirational public transport.'
