TfL's 'Mr Bus' to be new Go-Ahead chief exec

David Brown (right), Transport for London's managing director of surface transport, is returning to Go-Ahead Group next July to succeed Keith Ludeman as chief executive. Ludeman (60) is retiring after 40 years in public transport, 15 with Go-Ahead. He became chief executive in July 2006 two months before his predecessor, Chris Moyes, died and joined the group in 1996 after it acquired London General. He had led its management/employee buyout from London Buses in November 1994.
