Parts of the bus industry have worked hard to maximise seating capacity on two-door double-deckers, Alexander Dennis with the Enviro400 being the best example. That little extra front overhang gave a commendable 26 seats downstairs as well as wheelchair or buggy space. It represented a considerable improvement on the ever-decreasing lower deck capacityrnon older low-floor double-deckers.
