The lowheight nonckheere modulo first appeared in the UK in the autumn of 1998 as part of a big order of Jonckheere coaches from Stagecoach, which then was a fan of this VDL Groep company based in Belgium and went on to purchase 60 single-deck coaches on Volvo B10M chassis and 28 MAN-based double-deckers for the Oxford Tube.
